چکیده
The Kholodninskoe pyrite-polymetallic deposit (Baikal-Patom plateau, Russia) was discovered in 1968, but the questions of its genesis still remain controversial. It is assumed that explosive activity volcanic apparatuses southern part Baikal-Muya zone as well underwater exhalations scattered spreading back-arc basin could have most likely influenced geochemical features amagmatic deposits Bodaibo and Patom zones. To investigate influence hydrothermal on Neoproterozoic carbonbearing sediments Baikal Mountain region, Olokit zone, which a fragment backarc basin, chosen. According to parameters, Itykit Ondokskaya formations hosting Kholodninskoye fall into sedimentation area DalnyaTaiga period paleobasins. Having compared development sulfide mineralization ore objects structural-formation zones, authors suggest unity formation processes within area. presence framboidal pyrite indicates early stages hydrothermal-stratiform polymetallic were synchronous with sedimentation. source enrichment zinc lead, silver other elements typical for low- medium-temperature associations solution basins. exhalation activities studied region also spread further northward, thus influencing siderochalcophilic specialization black shale strata

Investigation of mineralization, REE geochemistry, and fluid inclusions studies of the Shalang vein-type polymetallic ore deposit, southwest of Kerman
The Shalang vein-type polymetallic ore deposit is located about 10 km southwest of Kerman and 70 km northeast of Sirjan, and lies in the central part of the Dehaj-Sarduieh metallogenic belt. This deposit is hosted by dacitic and andesitic vitric and crystal tuffs along with andesitic-dacitic lava flows of Eocene age. The alteration zones related to this deposit are propylitic, intermediate argi...
متن کاملAdmixture-elements and their use as geochemical indicators for search of buried pyrite ores in the Greater Caucasus (Azerbaijan)
Heterogeneous pyritaceous-polymetallic and copper-zinc-pyrrhotine deposits on the South slope of the Greater Caucasus are located in the Lower-Middle Jurassic terrigenous sediments. They were formed under a wide variation of physico-chemical parameters of mineral formation and are characterized by specific mineralogical-geochemical peculiarities. Ore-formation occurred in three stages. In the f...
متن کاملThe effect of estimation methods on multifractal modeling for mineralized zone delineation in the Dardevey iron ore deposit, NE Iran
The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Ordinary Kriging (OK) and Inverse Distance Weighted (IDW) estimation methods for the delineation of mineralized zones based on subsurface data using concentration–volume (C–V) multifractal modeling in the Dardevey iron ore deposit, NE Iran. Variograms and anisotropic ellipsoid were generated for the Fe distribution by the above estimation m...

Mehdiabad zinc-lead-barite deposit is located in the Central Iran structural zone and about 116 km southeast of Yazd. The host rock of this deposit is Lower Cretaceous dolomitic limestone of the Taft Formation . The main ore minerals in the Mehdiabad East Ridge ore zone include hemimorphite, hydrozincite, cerussite, and chalcophanite. Ore textures are mainly replacement, brecciated, and open-sp...
متن کاملOre Deposit Types and Their Primary Expressions
Metals are largely derived from the mantle or crust by partial melting and fluid-related leaching. Ligands can be provided from the same sources, or from the atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere. Transport is mainly by mechanical or mass transfer mechanisms and by fluids. On and near the surface, biological processes can also concentrate and transport ore components or remove non-ore component...
